TransPRK – NO TOUCH advanced surface laser ablation, utilises the sophisticated Schwind Amaris laser system. With the TransPRK procedure the Schwind laser system ablates the corneal epithelium instead of manual or alcohol assisted debridement, this prevents the eye from coming into contact with any instruments and provides a no touch – all laser surface ablation in one single step. This advanced technology with 6-dimensional eye-tracking allows to treat difficult eyes that were previously not suitable for refractive surgery.
